MISSION STATEMENT:
"To improve the equality of life of people with visual disability in Tanzania. TLB will employ the resources of its membership to develop goals and conduct programmes of information, research, education and resource identification in order to empower and enable people with visual disability to achieve goals of their own choosing while participating fully in Society."
TLB's PRIMARY CENCERNS:
TLB is primarily concerned with:
a)Building member's self awareness and
confidence.
b)Meet the set objectives.
c)Attempt to build capacity within the available
resources.
d)Leadership and staff management.
e)Transparency, accountability and sustainability.
ROLE:
a)Provide assistance to members
countrywide.
b)Supplementing and complimenting
members efforts towards poverty
eradication and combating discrimination.
